I like to refer to Tom and Deb as the “Dynamic Duo” as they share their passion for Civil War history. They give historical tours throughout the Kansas area and have published several books, including their collaboration The Day Dixie Died--Southern Occupation, 1865-1866 (2001). Tom is presently the editor of Badlands, a quarterly magazine devoted to exploring the cultural and military legacy of the American West and Deb chronicles their adventures at www.masondixonwildwest.blogspot.com.

In their many years of research and travel, they’ve accumulated quite a photo collection of strange items which will be presented to us in a slide show which includes lively discussion of these fascinating subjects by Tom and Deb.
